We believe maritime commerce is vital to our mid-western region’s economy. CORBA is a viable instrument that “gets the word out” not only to prospective world-wide customers but also to city and state leaders who understand the member companies provide well-paid employment opportunities as well as a tax base where they operate.

McNational, Inc.
As one of the founding members of CORBA, McGinnis, Inc. has been a staunch supporter of this organization. I have personally served on the Board for the entire time except for a two- year hiatus. Even then, I worked as an advisor and continued to co-chair the annual golf outing.
Pushing Commerce, the slogan for CORBA is what this association is all about. From expanding the Port to initiating the CORIS website to working with businesses and governmental agencies, every effort has been a step toward accomplishing that simple message.
Through all of these efforts, this organization has grown from approximately 10 members to 70 members. Each member brings something to the table, and we need to continue to expand that base and bring in fresh ideas and perspectives.
McGinnis, Inc. is proud to be a part of this association and will continue in our efforts to Push Commerce in this region.

Benchmark
Benchmark’s ownership has a strong sense of community and a strong commitment to support and promote the industries in which they operate. With no other local entity advocating for the maritime industry in the Greater Cincinnati region, it is essential that the maritime-dependent industry band together to create a voice and advocate for and on behalf of each other. CORBA has created that place and has been tireless in its efforts to create the needed visibility for our otherwise low-key industry. CORBA’s advocacy and industry promotion is highly valued.
